| Silent Voices |
Visions in my head full of hate and lies,
Conditions me to view the world with disdainful eyes .
I close my eyes to save what innocence is left,
It still leaves me tired and quite bereft.
With their first breath children are subject to pain and trepidation,
While predators use that as tools of intimidation.
They do not fear authority, they continue to lie and cheat,
Confident that they have a friend in the Judge's seat.
These children have no voices, no one hears their plight,
Somehow always in the wrong while the predators are in the right.
You may think its not so bad... No its worse than it seems!
Who is there to soothe the childrens souls from bad dreams?
Complacency, keeps all convinced they live in a safe place,
I hate to inform you, that is certianly not the case.
Everyday innocent eyes are blinded with pain,
Knowing that fact, makes me feel insane.
What a disturbing system we adhear to,
Not protecting the inncocent many, but the screwed up few.
A tragic paradox in the true sense of the word,
But now one of those voices shall be heard.
