| Monochromatic |
Some might say its rose colored glasses I see through,
They are mistaken because all i see is blue.
An azure light is what illuminates my eyes,
cobalt is the color of a wounded heart that still tries.
Do not misunderstand my thoughts of blue,
Various moods are conjured based on the hue.
True love is a utopia in ultramarine,
melancholy is best deciphered in an indigo scene.
It is in this color when my thoughts of love are construed,
This is the time when I think of you.
Often looking into your cerulean blue eyes,
That is when my love for the color cannot be disguised. |
