| Transfusion |
The compassion I seek is not in your eyes
As love I once sought, I now despise
As a child I reached for your hand
Still as an adult I cant comprehend
Why you push and pull me as if I were a machine
Left with no begining, end or in between
Your words still cut me like sharp slivers of glass
Even more so now then in the past
So if blood is thicker than water
Then please let me bleed
I would much rather have the purity of water
Then the poison blood on which you feed. |
